International Day of Islamic Art

Yesterday, November 18th., the world celebrated International Day of Islamic Art.

The UNESCO web site is celebrating this day as it also “…contributes to cultural diversity, freedom of expression, protection of cultural heritage and inter-cultural dialogue.

Since this blog site is always interested in dialogue and communication and Islam is a religion about dialogue and respect for the other, I thought I would share with you this occasion. The UNESCO web site shows this so well. You can also find other interesting articles relatednto this subject.

I hope you learn something from it. I would like to hear from you. What do you think. Do you agree with me? Did the UNESCO miss anything?
